We are seeking a talented Data Scientist with expertise in machine learning to join our Data Analytics team. You will work on challenging problems, developing ML models that help government agencies make data-driven decisions and improve operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement machine learning models for classification, regression, and NLP tasks
  • Build and optimize data pipelines for large-scale data processing
  • Develop predictive analytics solutions for government clients
  • Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Stay current with ML/AI advancements and apply them to client challenges

Requirements

  • Master's or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in data science or machine learning
  • Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop)
  • Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools
  • Experience deploying ML models to production
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

Nice to Have

  • Experience with NLP and computer vision
  • Knowledge of MLOps practices
  • Experience with cloud ML services (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML)
  • Publications in ML/AI conferences or journals
  • Government sector experience
